Join a growing operations team as a Control Room Operator based in North Battleford, SK. This full-time role involves overseeing plant control systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team through all stages—from commissioning to steady-state production—helping optimize processes and maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Operate and monitor Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to manage plant performance.
roubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain process stability.
Lead and mentor shift team members, promoting safety and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety personnel.
Participate in emergency response activities and support incident management.
Review and improve operational procedures and documentation.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.


Qualifications:


Minimum 5 years of experience in SAGD or related heavy oil operations.
3rd Class Power Engineering Certification or equivalent; experience with Delta V DCS is an asset.
Knowledge of steam generation, water treatment, oil treating, well operations, and natural gas compressors.
Ability to interpret P&IDs and facility drawings.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to relocate near North Battleford.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.


Work Environment:


1 -hour rotating shifts (7 days on / 7 days off), including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Plant-based work setting.

Job Description The is looking for psychiatrists to join our Mental Health Team in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.The successful candidate will be working with a multi-disciplinary team including four other psychiatrists and various other mental health professionals at the Battlefords Mental Health Centre. The incumbent will be responsible for outpatient and inpatient services, as well as emergency after-hours call coverage in a 1-in-7 rotation.The Battlefords Mental Health Centre is a 22-bed acute inpatient unit attached to the Battlefords Union Hospital. Typically each psychiatrist will be responsible for the care of 5 or 6 in-patients, with afternoons devoted to out-patient follow-ups. Although some adolescent and elderly patients are treated on the unit, the majority of the clinical work is general adult psychiatry. On-call duties are shared with the Psychiatrists of the Battlefords Mental Health Centre in a 1 in 6 rotation. Relocation Package Recruitment and Relocation incentive of $25,000.00 available for a 3 year return for service to the Community of North Battleford.
