About the Opportunity
Core Accounting:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting workflows and safeguard the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare consolidated results, including handling intercompany balances, eliminations, and currency translation.
- Develop and roll out accounting policies and procedures, including changes impacting financial systems.
- Provide coaching and training to staff on new processes and standards.

About the Opportunity
General Accounting & Financial Oversight:
- Supervise account reconciliation activities across all general ledger accounts, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items
- Approve reconciliations and journal entries prepared by junior accounting team members
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, schedules, and reports
- Produce full financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and support in delivering financial analysis

About You

- Strong understanding of private-sector accounting frameworks (e.g., ASPE); familiarity with non-profit standards is beneficial
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365; knowledge of tools like Power BI and VBA is considered an asset
- Hands-on experience with enterprise accounting systems; involvement in system upgrades or implementations is a plus
- High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines

About the Opportunity
- Review and reconcile daily activity of the funds - analyze daily cash flow activities, reconcile assets and cash balance for private equity funds
- Generate cash management analyses including the preparation of wires and transfers
- Process fund level accounts payable and related expenses
- Prepare capital calls and distributions of private funds
- Prepare partnership allocations
- Input manual entries, prepare required daily reporting and journal entries to support activity

- Understand legal agreements to ensure relevant aspects are captured by fund accounting including the related impact on reporting

About You

- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course
- Experience using an ERP system

About the Opportunity
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provisions and disclosures
- Maintain deferred tax schedules and prepare tax journal entries

About the Company?
Our client is an air services company. They are looking for a who will be responsible for leading the annual BCM program deliverables. In this capacity, you will facilitate the development and maintenance of department related business continuity plans and procedures, including the business impact analysis to ensure top critical function priority is understood. You will be responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with the critical function owners, collaborating with risk and continuity consultants, and the design and delivery of training and education programs for stakeholders to minimize the company’s exposure to business interruption, corporate, operational and other risks. You will also drive continuous improvement in the delivery of the Continuity program to stakeholders, including through corrective action monitoring and metrics reporting.

About the Opportunity?
Lead the annual program lifecycle plan to meet the deliverables requirements of the BCM/Resilience program’s governance and framework, including?
Manage a business interruption risk register, coordinate with technology teams such as cybersecurity, disaster recovery to align priorities and track controls and mitigation activities using automated tools?
Recommend reporting approaches for use in dashboard metrics to continually improve and mature the resilience of critical functions against service level metrics during disruption; and for presentation to working groups, steering committees, senior management and Board?
Design, develop and deliver training sessions of staff and management on their roles and responsibilities in the event of disruption?
Manage and track resulting corrective actions and program reporting approaches of BCM material using automated tools such as dashboards and metrics to facilitate management decision-making?
Influence and drive the owner relationships to foster trust and advise on BCM/Integrated Resilience best practices, including through working groups and one-on-one sessions?
Partner with business owners to document that?cross-functional risk areas and dependencies and business interruption risk areas have been addressed such as location/infrastructure and asset/equipment, technology, vendors, workforce and data risk?
About You?
University and/or College degree required in a related field such as business continuity, disaster recovery, project management
Possess or pursuing relevant industry recognized certification in Business Continuity (CBCP/M), Enterprise Risk Management (CRM/PRMIA) or Project Management (PMP) designation
4 years of relevant experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, project management and dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Valid Ontario driver’s license
