As part of the Marketing department, the North American Growth
Marketing team at our client is dedicated to leading digital marketing
and one-to-one communication initiatives. Their mandate is to build a
robust digital marketing ecosystem that enables personalized
communication at every customer interaction.Our client is modernizing
their marketing ecosystem to deliver personalized, relevant, and
timely communication to customers through their preferred channels.
Our client's Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) plays a critical
role in this transformation, driving the modernization of
owned-digital channel marketing across the enterprise. This involves
providing both consultation and tactical subject matter expertise in
one-to-one marketing best practices. As a key member of the Salesforce
COE, the Marketing Automation Specialist will collaborate closely with
key partners across Marketing & Business Units to ensure the
well-managed delivery of journey orchestration campaigns and
initiatives within the Salesforce ecosystem.This is a 12 month
contract, which has potential to extend beyond the initial contract
period. This role requires the Marketing Automation Specialist to
work onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto 2 days per

experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, allowing you to directly
design, build, and deploy high-impact campaigns that reach a broad
audience.• Work with a dedicated Salesforce COE, gaining deep subject
matter expertise in 1:1 marketing best practices and advanced SFMC
capabilities. You'll continuously grow your skills in a supportive
environment.• You'll be part of a dynamic North American Growth
Marketing team, collaborating with various marketing and business
units, expanding your network, and influencing diverse
initiatives.Responsibilities• Work closely with Integrated Marketing
to design, streamline, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
journeys, including building and filtering audiences.• Build and
deploy marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Email
Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder. This includes
developing journeys, setting up templates, managing lists, creating
forms, conducting A/B testing, and implementing automated triggers.•
Design and execute cross-channel SFMC campaigns/journeys based on
marketer requirements.• Lead the configuration of audience entry
source, exit criteria, and re-entry criteria based on campaign goals,
and structure Journey decision splits.• Oversee journey planning and
execution, including technical reviews and quality control.• Build and
maintain modular campaign templates that are responsive and
incorporate brand standards and best practices.• Perform QA testing to
ensure segmented audiences and content are accurate and rendering
properly on different devices.• Manage and segment audience data using
various Marketing Cloud tools (audience builder, data extensions, API,
filters, queries, etc.).• Troubleshoot campaign development issues,
including template rendering, accurate links, accessibility, and
subscriber lookup.• Leverage SFMC tools and scripting languages to
update content and enable dynamic content/personalization.• Build
highly dynamic campaigns using HTML and AMPscript.• Provide guidance
and train specialists on basic SFMC capabilities and deployment best
practices.• Bring expertise in personalization and marketing
automation, including dynamic email content and segmentation rules, to
customize marketing campaigns.• Participate in campaign optimization
sessions and support the analysis of campaign performance.•
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve
campaign objectives within stated timelines.• Use strong project
management skills to drive initiatives from conception to completion
within established timelines.QualificationsMust Have:• Minimum 2+
years of Salesforce and marketing automation experience.• Minimum 2+
years of campaign management and delivery experience with segmentation
strategy.• Solid CRM experience and understanding of marketing
campaign concepts and best practices.• Extensive experience owning
multi-audience campaigns and significant usage of Salesforce Marketing
Cloud (SFMC) is required, including Journey Builder, Email Studio,
Automation Studio, and Data Extensions.• Proficient in AMPscript,
HTML/CSS, and dynamic content scripting for email customization.•
Experience creating dynamic and personalized marketing campaigns using
AMPscript and SQL expertise; building automations for marketing,
analysis, and system maintenance using SQL knowledge; and maintaining
and optimizing SFMC for peak performance and data integrity.• Strong
knowledge of omnichannel and other regulatory frameworks applicable to
email marketing in Canada.• Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Nice to Have:• 2+ years of
journey orchestration experience in the Financial Services or other
regulated industries.• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications:
Administrator, Developer, and/or Email Specialist.• 2+ years of
experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed
environment, with a track record of effectively working autonomously
and navigating ambiguity.• Knowledge of Inline CSS, Embedded CSS,
External CSS, and AMPScript + CSS for SFMC implementation.SummaryIf
