Join us today and be a part of a team that is redefining the future of media. Rogers Creative, TSC - Today’s Shopping Choice is seeking a talented FT Temporary Promo Producer to join TSC’s Video Content team.  TSC develops award -winning work and experiences new creative challenges daily. The Promo Producer is required to work creatively and collaboratively to solve creative and production challenges, delivering high-quality work in order to elevate TSC’s video content at every opportunity.  This role will conceptualize and construct compelling stories, excite and engage our customers while keeping the customer experience top of mind. Please note this is a 6 month contract with the possbility of extention.  What you'll do...Work collaboratively with a Creative Director, Art Directors and a team of promo producers on industry-leading creativeConceptualize, write, edit and execute compelling in-house video shoots, corporate, event and merchandise promotions to “tell a story”Pitch concepts and present creative to partners and stakeholdersWork with models, show hosts and actors to deliver engaging video contentSolve challenges and find effective solutions that meet the project’s objectivesWork within brand guidelines and apply them to diverse executionsMake quick and confident decisions in the best interests of the brandLead, guide and inspire othersWork in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting work expectations and pivot with alt solutions as neededLiaise and coordinate with the team and cross-functional partnersTrain and mentor other team members to evolve their skillsWork on various projects simultaneously, problem solve and deliver projects on time and budget from concept to completion Experiment and test new ideas to help keep our work fresh and newWork with agility, doing what is needed on set and in post to make our collaboration work What you'll bring...5+ years of professional experience working in advertising, film/video production or an in-house environmentEducation in film, video production or related fieldProficiency shooting video for various formats using latest equipmentExcellent proficiency editing and colour grading, correcting on Adobe PremiereExcellent proficiency using Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics and type design for videoExperience with design and typography principlesExtensive experience in lighting sets and subjects for videoExperience sound designing and editing music and voiceoversStrong abilities and experience shooting products for retailIn-depth knowledge of industry leading trends and awareness of current methods and technologies.A track record of innovating to make your production and post work more efficientA strong portfolio demonstrating skills and experience in all aspects of video content creation Other Qualifications:Has transportation or is able to travel locally to shoot locations as neededIs highly creativeStrong communication skills and great time management skillsStrong attention to detailIs flexible and adaptable, able to pivot with the demands of the businessHas an enthusiasm for leadership, learning and developmentHas strong organizational and time management skills, across concept development, shoot planning, correspondence and asset managementAble to shift priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAccountable team player and self-started who is able to work independently and with multiple teams across the businessHas a strong interest in retail and e-commerce with a knowledge of fashion, beauty, home, fitness and electronic brands and in tune with consumer behaviour with those categoriesBrings a positive attitude to their work every dayPlease note all applicants must include a link to their portfolio website, recent work or demo reelPlease note this is a 6 month contract with the possbility of extention.  What's in it for you? We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
