We are looking for experienced Shift Leaders to lead and coordinate production teams across both day and afternoon shifts. In this hands-on leadership role, you will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. What You Will Be Doing Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during your assigned shift Monitor production output to ensure quality standards and daily targets are met Adjust workflow and reassign tasks as needed to maintain productivity and minimize downtime Train and mentor team members, promoting skills development and performance improvement Conduct regular safety and quality inspections, ensuring full compliance with standards Address and resolve operational issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with other shift supervisors and management to improve processes and team effectiveness Maintain accurate shift records, reports, and production documentation Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Enforce and uphold company policies and procedures Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce the #1ANDRITZway core values and behaviors and promote a positive work environment What We Have to Offer In exchange for your commitment, we offer the following: A dynamic and innovative work environment where your expertise and ideas are valued. What We're Looking For When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate others Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production setting Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required Strong understanding of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices Prior supervisory or lead-hand experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Legally authorized to work in Canada Willingness to work either day or afternoon shift About the New Facility ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel, a leading company in the field of process and plant solutions, technologies and services for the animal feed, aqua feed, pet food, and biofuel industries, is excited to announce the establishment of a new state-of-the-art die plant as part of its expansion strategy.
