Position: MMF - Class B Type: Permanent, Full-Time – On-Site Location: Montreal About 555 Midtown Located in the heart of Montreal’s industrial district, 555 Midtown is an iconic building specializing in high-end commercial spaces. Our mission is to maintain the highest standards in quality, safety, and technical performance across our property. We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Class B Stationary Mechanic to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our mechanical systems and essential building infrastructure. Compensation and Benefits: Insurance benefits (dental, life, vision). On-site gym and parking available. Paid time off. Opportunities for training and professional development. Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday (full-time, 8 hours/day). Key Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and repair the building’s mechanical systems including steam boilers, air compressors, ventilation, and commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Perform system adjustments, testing, calibration, and fine-tuning Conduct preventative maintenance and address identified issues Maintain accurate operational records and performance logs Attend technical meetings and collaborate with the maintenance team Technical Skills & Requirements: Must hold a valid Class B Stationary Engineer certificate issued by the appropriate ministry of the Government of Quebec Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field. Hold a 4th, 3rd, 2nd, or 1st class heating and steam engine certificate DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in stationary mechanics or related field Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards Ideal Candidate Profile: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Good judgment and logical thinking Able to work independently and within a team Clear and effective communicator Proactive attitude and professional demeanor Salary: To be discussed, based on experience and qualifications Work Location: On-site in Montreal Schedule: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday Ready to take on a new technical challenge in a dynamic environment?
