B-Pressure Welder     SUMMARY: We are actively recruiting for a B-Pressure Welder to join our team.  They will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on pressure vessels, piping systems, and other components in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.   BRANCH:          Westech Vac Systems, Nisku, Alberta   WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Manufacturing   EMPLOYMENT TYPE:                   1 Vacancy In-shop Permanent Monday-Friday, day shift (over-time required) POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Grade B Pressure Welder certification. Minimum of three years of experience in pressure welding in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in various welding techniques and processes. Strong understanding of welding ASME codes, standards, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and quality control. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical ability to perform welding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to pass all position welding test.   POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform welding tasks on pressure vessels, piping systems, and other components using various welding techniques Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements. Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes and specifications. Conduct inspections and tests to verify the integrity and quality of welds. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently. Document welding activities and maintain accurate records.
