Responsibilities and Focus Areas: Manages the programming of WIM’s capital projects for Toronto Water’s annual capital budget, and tracks delivery and budget of capital projects.
Manages collaboration with capital project delivery partners to support the design and construction phases of capital projects, which involves providing technical expertise, as required, analyzing delivery issues and identifying solutions to enhance capital project delivery.
Recommends processes, policies, and key performance indicators concerning the delivery and monitoring of capital projects.
Evaluates, monitors and decides on changes to capital project scope, schedule and/or budget, and opportunities to bundle delivery of capital projects, in consultation with other WIM units and delivery partners.
Builds and maintains relationships with City of Toronto project delivery partners/divisions and external partners (e.g. consultants and associations involved in water and wastewater infrastructure design and construction).
Participates as a member of the section's management team, and attends capital delivery coordination meetings and budget related meetings, as required, led by the Capital Planning and Implementation Section of Toronto Water
Operates as a fully accountable program leader and thrives in an environment with high expectations and frequently competing deadlines.
Manages, motivates, and trains the Unit's staff, including supervision of day-to-day operations, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing work, and monitoring and evaluating staff performance, while ensuring effective teamwork, and high standards of work quality and organizational performance, and promoting continuous learning and innovation
Ensures the efficient utilization and development of human resources.
Develops and administers the annual budget for the unit and ensures that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations.
Develops and implements detailed plans and recommends policies regarding program specific requirements.
Enhances and promotes the division by providing strong leadership, setting goals and priorities and taking a proactive approach to problem solving.
Supports the development of the Section's Key Performance Indicators.
Prepares reports to City Council and Committees.
Represents Toronto Water at meetings and consults with the public, City Council staff, internal and external clients and consultants.
Oversees the preparation of technical reports and staff reports for Committees and City Council, as may be required. Key Qualifications: Among the strengths you bring to the role of Manager, Water Infrastructure Management, Toronto Water, you will have:
A Professional Engineering license and be a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)
Significant experience in the programming and delivery (design and construction) of water and wastewater capital programs, including monitoring, reporting and analyzing on capital project delivery with a focus on budget needs and pressures and capital delivery timelines.
Experience in the development of Capital Budgets, including planning, scheduling, prioritizing and costing of projects.
Familiarity with the development and management of Operating Budgets.
Broad knowledge of strategic planning for water and wastewater infrastructure, focusing on identifying budget needs, budget pressures, and capital delivery.
Broad knowledge of environmental assessments needs assessment, infrastructure planning, design, construction and the operation of water and wastewater systems.
Demonstrated experience in managing a multidisciplinary team of technical and professional staff including experience leading, motivating, coaching and developing employees.
Broad knowledge of the principles and practices of water resources, stormwater management, water distribution and wastewater collection systems, and water and wastewater treatment.
Considerable experience in the development of policies, programs, technical design guidelines and/or by-laws related to stormwater management, water resources, water distribution, wastewater collection, water treatment and wastewater treatment systems and mitigating the impacts on aquatic resources and the natural environment.
Highly developed ability to manage competing priorities, including the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
Considerable experience in the preparation of interdivisional and external process documents, preparation of council reports, review of technical reports and responding to inquiries by councillors, external agencies and the public.
Significant knowledge of Federal and Provincial regulations and requirements including, but not limited to the Ontario Water Resources Act, Environmental Protection Act, Environmental Assessment Act, Federal Fisheries Act, Clean Water Act, Procedure F5-5 and MECP's Stormwater Manual, Safe Drinking Water Act, Sustainable Water & Sewer System Act, Municipal Act, Land Use Planning Act, the Development Charges Act and Water Opportunities & Water Conservation Act.
Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations, Collective Agreements and related Employee & Labour Legislation.

Description /AccountabilitiesAn IT Operations Analyst IV within Network Operations Support Group is responsible for providing senior level support of the TD Bank Group network infrastructure. This includes BRP capabilities, incident management and support of all components associated with these environments. Areas of support include the LAN, MAN, WAN, RLAN, Wireless, Firewall, Load balancer and Optical solutions.Accountabilities will include, but not limited to, following:Manage day to day deliverables during the shift, under the overall direction of the NOC Shift Leader. The primary accountability of this position is to ensure that all work deliverables during the shift are efficiently managed with strong delivery and prompt escalations to the Shift Lead/Manager positions as needed. Engage other teams or escalate to L2/L3 teams as necessary. Smooth takeover of work as well as well documented and smooth hand over is part of the accountability.Provide strong technical support while ensuring that NOC processes and procedures are followed properly by the team that they are the part of. This includes proper use of automation, following proper remediation procedures, high quality ticket and vendor issue updates, handover documentation, etc.Collaborate strongly with the Shift leader to manage the queue, work intake as well as delivery.Engage in high priority incidents (P2's) or incident calls and provide support.Engage with wider operational teams like EES/OCG and other support areas on an ongoing basis.Ensure work being taken over is followed up promptly while providing proper handover to the next shift as well as to the Shift Leader.Support the incident, change and problem management processes.Manage incident queue and effectively prioritize and triage incidents based on critical devices and shared services.Help assess training needs, process gaps and improvement suggestions, automation opportunities and effectively communicate upwards to the Shift leader and Manager as requiredAssess impact and potential impact/risk and report to the shift leader/Manager very promptly when significant issues occurEscalations with internal TD teams and 3rd party vendors.Manage chronic, repeat and aging incidents with proper internal/external escalations.Explore new automation opportunities for any repeated tasks to reduce human touch.Report on any challenges with internal processes, gaps, or any challenges with vendors and telcos.Other duties as required.Other Qualifications / Skills / ExperienceThe successful candidate must possess the following:Strong team player, self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in order to interact with support groups, clients and vendors. Experience and a sound understanding of network environments (TCP/IP, Cisco routers/switches, Firewall, Load Balancers, WiFi) including an excellent understanding of telecommunications concepts and Telco connectivity. Strong understanding of Switching and Routing - Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches, SDWAN (Cisco/Aruba Silverpeak).Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load balancers, Aruba or Cisco WiFi, VMware NSX is a definite asset for this position.Proficient in executing diagnostic techniques with a sound foundation of Network tools which include SevOne, NetBrain, Infoblox, ExtraHop, ThousandEyes.Sound second level problem determination and problem source identification skills with regards to the various network technologies utilized within TD globally.Specific Educational Requirements / AccreditationsTechnology Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience.CCNA certified (must have) with minimum of 4 years work experience in Network Operations/Production environment, orCCNP certified with minimum of 3 years work experience in Network Operations/Production environment.Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores. Duration: Contract Assignment Duties Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and enterprise directory services such as Microsoft Entra ID. Administer and maintain SAP systems across cloud (public/private) IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments, including on-prem and hybrid deployments. Support and administer SAP Cloud ALM for system health, integration monitoring, testing, and change lifecycle. Support integration between SAP S/HANA and SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Concur, and other rd party systems using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration and API Management).
Configure and support SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services including: Subaccount management, entitlements, and trust configuration Build Apps, Build Process Automation SAP Datasphere for data integration and modeling SAP Analytics Cloud for business reporting and planning Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and system monitoring for large and complex SAP landscapes. Qualifications
