We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join BrokerLink on a Permanent (FT) Basis. This role can be based out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or the Atlantic region, or remotely from another Canadian province in which BrokerLink operates.

Working for an employer who is regularly recognized as one of Canada’s best employers such as Kincentric 2024 What the Role Entails Coordinates and supports risk identification, reporting and monitoring processes.
Advises on technical elements of risk management which involves risk identification, assessment, mitigation, planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
Participates in the development and oversight of actions to control risks.
Builds and sustains relationships with stakeholders to provide the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of their risks.
Develops and maintains audits, audit analysis and prepare findings including recommend improvements related to mitigation actions and monitoring.
Ensure coordination between the lines of defense related to operational risks and promote appropriate information sharing across and within.
Advises in the development and implementation of analytics and risk reporting capability.
Coordinates and develops process improvement for internal risk management initiatives.
Risk & Compliance administrative duties as required. The Successful candidate will have:
*If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply* 3-5 years of relevant experience as an analyst in compliance or risk management as part of the second line of defense. Other combinations of experience as an analyst in risk management, compliance, internal/ external audit, project management or operational business analyst etc. may be considered.
Knowledge of insurance brokerage operations and related risks and opportunities.
A solutions-oriented mindset, critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder coordination skills.
Excellent skills related to research, analysis, written and verbal communication – the ability to articulate key requirements concisely and effectively.
Ability to understand the impact of decisions on stakeholders in a complex working environment.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and PowerBI.
