JMC is pleased to partner with Maple Leaf Homes in the recruitment of a Manager, Human Resources to join their dynamic leadership team.
Located in Fredericton, NB, Maple Leaf Homes is a leading manufacturer of modular housing solutions, proudly serving Atlantic Canada, the New England States, and Central Canada. With over 40 years of industry experience, Maple Leaf Homes delivers turnkey, ready-to-move-in homes with a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
As the organization continues to grow, Maple Leaf Homes is seeking a strategic and hands-on HR professional to lead all facets of human resources. The Manager, Human Resources will oversee key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-volume recruitment efforts, including coordination of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
- Provide strategic guidance and support on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle and talent acquisition strategy.
- Maintain and optimize HRIS systems and data integrity.
- Partner with senior leadership on change management initiatives and organizational development strategies.
- Prepare and manage attendance reviews, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee inquiries related to leave, benefits, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and staffing data.
- Provide coaching and support to managers for effective performance management.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- CHRP or CHRL designation (or working toward designation) is considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of New Brunswick employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
