Description :Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Operations Managerthe incumbent is responsible for maintaining contracted assets (roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) per standards and conditions specified in the contract.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesWinter SeasonRemoval of snow and ice utilizing grading equipment and other snow removal and/or sanding equipment as required.Summer SeasonMaintain and repair highway and other surfaces including signs, guardrails, fence, lighting, Operate grader equipment and any other vehicles and equipment as required: for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair; repair/maintenance of slopes, berms, culverts, drains, etc.; to control vegetation appearance and growth. Frequent exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, frequent exposure to insects and infrequent exposure to reptiles/rodents, the noise level in the work environment usually moderate but on occasion can be more than moderate.Highly developed sense of safety awareness and perceptive ability. You must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident. You must be able to communicate with co-workers' safety instructions. You must be able to think clearly and focus on your safety in your immediate surroundings, while using tools and equipment, while driving or operating equipment. Description :Position SummaryResponsible for responding to incidents on provincial highways. Incidents include traffic accidents, spills, and emergency situations which affect the highway and the safety of the travelling public, and other emergency situations within the right of way which affect the highway. Required to assist provincial and local police and emergency response services in incidents and accidents.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management for multiple and complex IT infrastructure initiatives, from concept to delivery and successful closure, meeting security, compliance and quality standards.
  • Support other programs and projects with dependencies on IT infrastructure by leading assigned workstreams and with effective reporting to other program managers as required.
  • Successfully deliver multiple projects meeting requirements, deadlines, and quality standards within budget constraints.
  • Ensure effective oversight of 3rd party service providers by developing and maintaining strong relationships, establishing clear communication channels, and facilitating regular updates to preemptively address potential issues and delays.
  • Provide comprehensive project reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster effective communication among diverse and global teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Skillfully manage priorities, adapt to changes, and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in risk management and proactively plan for risk mitigation.

What You'll Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Project Management or another related field is required.
  • 5+ years extensive experience managing large, intricate IT infrastructure, security and compliance projects that encompass various departments, divisions, and business units.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple, complex projects within a portfolio.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs) for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A comprehensive understanding and practical application of both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and tools to different audiences (executives, customers, project team members).
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. 
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet, JIRA and Confluence is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL, IT Security, IT Compliance, business and systems analysis, application development and software quality assurance methods are assets.
  • Knowledge of the gaming, retail, and/or distribution industries are assets.
