Description :Position SummaryResponsible for responding to incidents on provincial highways. Incidents include traffic accidents, spills, and emergency situations which affect the highway and the safety of the travelling public, and other emergency situations within the right of way which affect the highway. Required to assist provincial and local police and emergency response services in incidents and accidents.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.*Please note - in order to support our road maintenance services, this role may be assigned to operations of equipment for winter or summer operations as required* Position start date will be in 2025.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary liaison between provincial and local police, fire and various emergency responders during incident managementCommunicate with the Ministry of Transportation Traffic Operations Centre by 2-way radio and telephone to provide information and updates pertaining to incidents.Responsible for completing incident ReportsCoordinate detour routes in the event of an asset (system or road) closureConduct follow through investigation on all fatalities to determine if facilities contributed to the accident. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with IT infrastructure, Security and Compliance experience to join our Project Management Office team within our Winnipeg Office. Please note that preference will be given to Winnipeg-based applicants.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management for multiple and complex IT infrastructure initiatives, from concept to delivery and successful closure, meeting security, compliance and quality standards.
• Support other programs and projects with dependencies on IT infrastructure by leading assigned workstreams and with effective reporting to other program managers as required.
• Successfully deliver multiple projects meeting requirements, deadlines, and quality standards within budget constraints.
• Ensure effective oversight of 3rd party service providers by developing and maintaining strong relationships, establishing clear communication channels, and facilitating regular updates to preemptively address potential issues and delays.
• Provide comprehensive project reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster effective communication among diverse and global teams to achieve project objectives.
• Skillfully manage priorities, adapt to changes, and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Demonstrate expertise in risk management and proactively plan for risk mitigation.
• Handle issues expertly, identifying and resolving challenges.

What You'll Bring

• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Project Management or another related field is required.
• 5+ years extensive experience managing large, intricate IT infrastructure, security and compliance projects that encompass various departments, divisions, and business units.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset.
• Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple, complex projects within a portfolio.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs) for multiple projects simultaneously.
• A comprehensive understanding and practical application of both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and tools to different audiences (executives, customers, project team members).
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. 
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. 
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet, JIRA and Confluence is an asset.
• Working knowledge of ITIL, IT Security, IT Compliance, business and systems analysis, application development and software quality assurance methods are assets.
• Knowledge of the gaming, retail, and/or distribution industries are assets.
