This dual role is an exciting opportunity to those who have captured and generated reports for auction vehicles but would like to get in on the action in Sales. This is an on the road position, travelling to dealerships, as assigned, start vehicles, and complete a detailed breakdown of condition. They will pay close attention to details when creating the condition report. Alongside capturing vehicles, you will identify new business opportunities within the automotive dealership category and develop your own active account base within a defined territory. This role is in support of the business development and sales team. You will interact with current clients and will generate new clients to build your own client base while supporting the various departments and team members within our company. RESPONSIBILITIES :Work with territory managers and fill your weekly schedule as required. Visit dealerships to capture vehicle information & photos, in a timely manner. Build, maintain and foster customer relationships to secure customer loyalty and increase volume of vehicle inspections.Assume direct responsibility for dealer consignment inspections meeting specified targets and parameters. Perform all vehicle inspections in your geographic location with a major attention to detail in order to provide a high quality of information to buying customers and minimize errors, cancelled sales and arbitration. Provide customer training as required for customers. Keep up to date with information about product and service innovations, changing needs of customers, market conditions and competitors and provide feedback for business strategy accordingly. Travel to conduct vehicle inspections at a variety of locations including dealerships, physical auctions, off site locations and consumer residences. Provide feedback and daily log to your manager and team. Approach New Dealers with our global remarketing solution. Establishing rapport, demonstrating our solution, and closing the deal. Onboarding users and supporting their performance to ensure successful results. Providing guidance and best practices on platform functionality and operation. Supporting dealer requirements, handling any questions/concerns and providing outstanding solutions at every opportunity. Establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships to drive the company’s leadership position in a competitive marketplace.REQUIREMENTS :Must have an automotive vehicle and a clean drivers´ abstract. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual or automatic. Automotive knowledge, preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service background. Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches. Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment. Good manual dexterity to work around vehicles and with mobile devices. Vision abilities required include close, distance, colour and depth perception. Excellent reading / writing skills as well as the ability to make sound decisions and exercise common sense and critical thinking skills. Must be willing to work in various weather conditions and be a team player. Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or kneel, stand for a prolonged period with the ability to lift. Flexible availability including weekends (primarily Saturdays) and ability to be available between the hours of 8am and 6pm with occasional evenings as required by the needs of the business. Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential. Possibility of carrying out duties outside of designated region based on capture request. Incredible Customer Service skills with the ability to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations. Communication (verbal and written) and relationship building skills. Key Responsibilities


Product Marketing Leadership

- Own the product roadmap and lifecycle for assigned Product Divisions (PDs), from concept to market launch.

- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor positioning.

- Lead new product introductions (NPIs), including go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning.

- Define product requirements and specifications based on insights and market intelligence.

- Collaborate with global teams to define product features, design, and user experience.

- Manage full P&L, ensuring profitability, SKU productivity, and strategic category sales.

- Benchmark competitors’ line logic and innovations to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.

- Lead the CCC and budgeting planning cycle for the Canadian Business Unit.


Sales Management

- Serve as the primary contact for national and key retail accounts, building trust-based, long-term relationships.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.

- Lead Product Line Reviews (PLRs), including product selection, pricing logic, and sell-in targets.

- Coordinate cross-functional support (marketing, service, operations) to meet account performance goals.

- Forecast and track key account metrics to ensure alignment with business targets.

- Represent the company in sales presentations and negotiations, balancing client satisfaction with profitability.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective retail partners.

- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.


Business & Channel Strategy

- Define and execute channel management strategies, for private label and Midea owned brands.

- Lead the scoping and securing of new business with both existing and new channel partners.

- Build business cases for new opportunities and define value chains with the product division (PD) partners in China for new listings.

- Actively participate in CPFR sessions and monthly forecasting, taking ownership of committed numbers.

- Plan and manage promotional activities, ensuring alignment with funding and strategic goals.


Cross-Functional Leadership

- Inspire and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver results including PD, marketing, operations, and service.

- Leverage internal and external feedback and market intelligence to continuously improve product offerings and positioning.


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant experience: 5+ years of experience in product marketing and/or national account sales, in the Residential Air Conditioning industry.

- Proven success managing major Canadian retailers (e.g., Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart, RONA, Costco, Home Hardware, Leon’s, etc.).

- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Position Summary: TÜV SÜD America is seeking a Sales Hunter Account Executive to support TÜV SÜD America’s Newmarket, Ontario operation’s environmental testing and Li-ion battery testing business in their target markets.
This position will require a strong partnership with the existing dynamic sales team as well as with the lab technical experts and operations team.
The position also requires coordinating with regional and national management.
The successful candidate will maintain a strong working knowledge of the Li-ion battery test specifications (customer, industry and regulatory).
This role will work from the Newmarket, Ontario lab.
Sales markets could include: stationary energy storage (ESS), automotive, medium-heavy trucks, off-road, powersports, marine, military/defense, aircraft/drone/VTOL/aerospace.
Responsibilities: - Strong focus on developing new customers and markets not currently served by the Auburn Hills, MI, Newmarket, ON, or TÜV SÜD sales and operations team.
This should be considered a strong “sales hunter” position.- Develop strategic plans for further business growth for the assigned region, and execute those plans with successful growth outcomes in order to meet sales targets within the following areas: - Revenue / Sales Growth / Profit Growth / Increased Market Share - Expand existing customers’ book of business - Proactively find, develop, and win new business with existing and new customers in the business sectors defined by regional and national management - React to customer requirements to offer tailored solutions covering a whole portfolio of compliance services.- Build relationships with clients by serving as the technical liaison from pre-sales booking with the goal of being the customer’s trusted advisor - Perform customer discovery discussions to understand and document business needs and regulatory requirements necessary for the formulation of optimal solutions - Draft internal test plans based on domestic and international product standards in order to develop quote responses to customers - Develop, tailor, and deliver technical presentations as needed - Remain informed of changes to and developments of International/OEM test standards, test methods, and policies for existing and evolving technologies.
Follow industry technology trends through self-study and formal training, and share that knowledge with clients - Participate in Automotive and standard organizations and industry groups relating to product compliance - Share technical, industry, and customer insights & developments with the operations team - Own and manage quotation generation from any allocated accounts  - Handle incoming telephone, email, and website enquiries effectively and efficiently - Be able to identify and provide solution-based packages from TÜV SÜD’s service portfolio.- Fast and effective generation of quotations and proposals using the CRM tool.- Ownership of follow-up activities to convert quotations to orders, to be recorded on the CRM tool.- Compiling and validating prospect lists and maintaining CRM records. - Conduct site visits to meet with engineers who are developing products and have a need for evaluations & testing.- Perform customer discovery discussions to understand and document business needs and regulatory requirements necessary for the formulation of optimal solutions  - Add value to the customer by listening to their requirements whilst having the ability to understand their compliance needs.- Up to 25% travel within North America  - Entry of key information into the business project management tool once quotations become projects.
The position will include, but is not limited to, the following service areas: - Battery performance testing - Battery abuse testing (battery alone, or battery/vehicle combined) - Environmental testing of target-market components and subsystems (mechanical, electrical, battery, etc.) - Development and/or validation testing - Post-test analysis - Certification - ESS testing and certification Qualification Education and Experience: - Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Engineering (Engineering preferred), or equivalent experience.- At least five (5) years’ experience in a business development/”hunter” sales role.
Demonstrated results in new business/new customer development required.- At least five (5) years’ experience in one or more of the target markets listed above.
Non-automotive experience considered a plus; strong experience in multiple markets a strong plus.- Experience in service environment and/or project management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Working knowledge of the Li-ion battery market and/or manufacturers (cell/module/pack/ESS) and specifications.- Laboratory-based product testing knowledge within the Test, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry or industry experience of product qualification using laboratory-based product testing - A good understanding of practical financial issues and business fundamentals.
