Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Financial Advisor is responsible for proactively leading sales and advisory services to members, maximizing the opportunity for CUA to meet all of their financial and banking needs. The Financial Advisor executes strategic business development to secure new members, particularly in target market segments defined by CUA. In addition, this position ensures that all sales and advisory services directly help members to achieve their full financial potential and also meet CUA’s business objectives. What you’ll be doing: Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding targets for loans, deposits, financial products, and membership growth Proactively engage with existing members to build strong relationships, understand their financial needs, and increase wallet share Deliver exceptional service by consistently meeting or surpassing member service standards and providing tailored financial advice Identify members’ unique financial goals and recommend appropriate CUA products and services to support their financial success Contribute to business development by acquiring new members and securing a defined share of their banking business Build and maintain a network of external partners and referral sources using the centres of influence model to drive new business Accurately and efficiently process members’ daily banking transactions across CUA’s delivery channels in accordance with defined standards What we are looking for: Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration, with three to five years relevant experience in a financial institution; or equivalent combination of training and experience Thrives in engaging in and securing new business from existing and prospective members; proactively pursues business and operational solutions Superior interpersonal and relationship management skills Strong service orientation, focused on achieving exceptional service standards Expert in general banking services, including detailed knowledge of all of CUA’s products and services Effectively operate independently in any of CUA’s channels, including mobile delivery High self-motivation to achieve results and exceed targets At Venor, we embrace a culture of belonging in the workplace. Insurance Advisor
As an Insurance Advisor you are responsible for meeting sales targets through quotes and by referring new business. Every day you will build lasting relationships with your customers, helping to protect what matters most to them.
Here is what a typical day looks like You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business The value you bring You do not need experience, if unlicensed, we would provide applicable training for the right candidate
RIBO / General Level 1 Insurance License an asset
Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs
You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email
Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role
Working experience in EPIC an asset Hours: Temporary, Full time – 37.5 hours/ week (1 year contract)
Location: Golden, BC
Salary Range: $51,000 - $70,000
