  • Location: Abbotsford, BC
  • Competitive Salary
  • Typical Shift: 10 hr days / 5 days per week
  • Experience Required: 5 years experience on Dash 8 Q400, AT802, or light aircraft
  • TC license preferred but not required
  • Term: 6 months with possible extensions
  • Out of town provisions offered for those that live greater than 125 km from Client location.

North West Geomatics , part of Hexagon, provides high-quality aerial mapping and related spatial data services to engineering and mapping firms, environmental consulting organizations and government agencies. We are a pioneer in developing numerous techniques that maximize efficiency and productivity in LiDAR aerial image acquisition and subsequent photogrammetric tasks. By dedicating a significant portion of resources to continuing R&D, we stay at the forefront in the aerial imaging industry. Our fleet includes Cessna 441 and Reims f406 aircraft. We are currently seeking a full-time licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with a preference for AME’s that have worked on TPE331 turboprop or similar engines, Cessna 441 and/or Reims f406 aircraft.


Main Duties include:

  • Manage digital maintenance platform (RAAS)
  • Conduct maintenance on fleet aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness.
  • Accurately complete maintenance paperwork and data entry
  • Track and plan maintenance under the guidance of the Director of Aircraft Maintenance
  • Travel to aircraft to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Troubleshoot issues as applicable
  • Manage inventory


Requirements:

  • Safety minded
  • Valid AME License a MUST
  • Ability to obtain US A&P License a MUST
  • Travel throughout US and Canada to perform maintenance on site
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proven observational, decision-making and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven leadership skills
  • M1 Licensed AME or an M2 Licensed AME willing to obtain M1 License

POSITION NAME : Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Supervisor - Full - time position


YOUR TASKS:


This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance (PRM), and the QA Manager.


  • Lead, direct and motivate assigned team of up to 12 AME’s
  • Thorough communication with customers MOC, schedule and conduct customer maintenance tasks on their specific policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and hand over to opposite supervisor to maintain operation consistency.
  • Keep and maintain all employee shift schedule and daily operation workorders in Bi2
  • Work closely with the PRM and QA Manager to ensure all training standards are being met and maintained for compliance with CAR’s.
  • Ensure paperwork and logbook entries are complete and accurate.
  • Keep a clean and organized working environment.
  • Promote current policies and procedures as defined in the company MPM and QCP documents.
  • Revise existing procedures and generate new processes to enhance safety, knowledge and efficiencies.
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings.
  • Actively participate in the Wright International SMS including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the company safety policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.


WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:


  • Must have a valid Transport Canada AME M2 license and minimum of three endorsements .(B737NG/MAX, B777,B787 – A320CEO/NEO –A330CEO/NEO, A350, preferred).
  • Must hold a valid RAIC and AVOP for YYZ.
  • Previous AME Lead/Supervisor experience required - proven ability to lead a team of AMEs.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Bi2).
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Starlink Aviation is looking for an M2 Licensed aircraft maintenance engineer !Your roleThe Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will perform the maintenance tasks scheduled by the coordinators.
