Position Summary

We are hiring a Warehouse Worker – Packaging  on behalf of our reputable client in Dartmouth. This role involves crate and pallet construction, cargo packaging and securing, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build crates and pallets for cargo transport
  • Secure breakbulk cargo onto flat racks and containers
  • Create container load maps and conduct condition inspections
  • Label and heat-wrap cargo
  • Perform equipment checks and general warehouse upkeep (e.g., racking, painting)
  • Follow ISO and OHSAS procedures


Safety & Quality Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and others
  • Adhere to QHSE procedures and report hazards or incidents
  • Participate in the Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) Committee
  • Authorized to stop any unsafe activity or condition

The Physician lead will have a focused responsibility across their designated specialty area or zone as appropriate, with special attention on CIS implementation and physician engagement by integrating the resources and priorities derived from Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health leadership and Nova Scotia Digital Services.  Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesReporting directly to the CMIO and VP Medicine of Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health, the Physician lead will: Support OPOR Readiness and the physician components of the clinical practice standardization across the NSHA and IWK to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care using clinical systems and knowledge-driven care.  Engage patient care providers with varying roles including physicians, interprofessional team members, ancillary department personnel, and health records professionals to contribute to the effective use of the clinical information system.  Assist to create clinical protocols, standardization and metrics of clinical documentation to facilitate successful adoption of clinical applications.Serve as a practicing physician leader who routinely uses clinical information systems for patient care who will:promote the use of information technology in the clinical setting to improve safety, quality, patient and family satisfaction, efficiency in delivery of care, and integration with biomedical equipment;identify needs and support the training of clinicians on the clinical systems;demonstrate  and educate clinicians on the effective use of clinical systems to improve and positively affect patient care;leverage clinical and health data to improve services and daily operations;  and,  identifies opportunities for ongoing systems improvement and changes needed to best realize the advantages of clinical automation. DeliverablesThe One Person One Record Physician Leads will be assigned by service area.FFS basisActive member of PAC (must send delegate if unable to attend)Active participant in departmental/network, service area meetings as One Person One Record representativeParticipate in Physician Needs Assessment(s) for clinical areaIdentify and engage with champions and subject matter expertsDirectly liaise with physicians with questions, concerns, and feedbackExpectation of minimum one presentation per month to service areasExpectation of relevant contribution to design sessions meetings (clinical area)One Person One Record champion across province with external stakeholdersEngagements with Clinical TeamsBy Service Areas:Perioperative, Anesthesia, General Medicine, Palliative, Primary Care, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Zonal x 4 and IWK, Oncology, and Mental Health Eligibility Medical Degree requiredLicensed physician with current practice requiredInformatics experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to listen to the voice of our providers for their needs and recommendationsViewed as credible, visionary, and able to produce results Sound understanding of technical issues and ability to explain them to peers and usersCommitment to the use of technology to improve and positively affect patient careKeen understanding of the regulatory and risk management requirement for the CISAbility to develop flexible, transferable models for pathways of care and order set management Preferred QualificationsSignificant understanding of pain points, capabilities, and deficiencies in the processPossesses good grasp clinical work flow inpatient specialty units preferred.Previous experience in clinical outcomes, patient safety and quality management preferred.Previous experience in routine use of clinical information systems for patient care preferred.Successful experience with implementation of healthcare applications preferred.Experience with innovation preferred.Training in medical administration, informatics or public health preferred.Expertise in data analytics and population health preferred.Time Requirements Estimated at 4-6 hours per week. CompensationBy combination of deliverable compensation. SubmissionTo submit your expression of interest please provide a cover letter and CV through the Success Factors Portal. About the Opportunity The Clinical Lead has a fundamental role in the success of this complex, multi-organizational clinical transformation initiative. Their provision of critical consultative leadership, clinical expertise, planning, and direction at the multi health authority Program/Specialty Level and with all work streams, will ensure the scale and fundamental nature of clinical transformation required is understood at appropriate leadership levels, the achievement of drivers/goals and the delivery of a well-planned strategy in collaboration with the health organization leaders. The Clinical lead will lead interprofessional working group(s) responsible for the development, adjudication and implementation of governance, evidence informed best practice and standardization within the OPOR Program. The clinical lead acts as a subject matter expert within their area(s) of specialty, as well as providing structure/framework, project management support for working groups, initiatives, and projects. The Clinical lead is responsible for providing oversight for the development of clinical standards to support the implementation of clinical information systems. The Clinical lead leads clinical care process design and reviews activities across the organization to ensure maximum benefits and enhancements are achieved. The Clinical lead independently addresses issues and makes decisions of moderate complexity with little or no supervision and delivers clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues across the organizations. This includes: leading the analysis and dissemination of best practice standards and content learly communicating both up (sr. leadership) and down (front line staff) across the organization facilitating consensus and decision making across broad stakeholder groups being organized, outcomes driven, preparing work packages and decision documents for review by stakeholder/working groups having the ability to understand and support system level impacts and decisions while narrowing focus to translate and communicate stakeholder impact effectively About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Undergraduate degree in health related field. Consideration may be given to those with appropriate training and work experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a clinical environment Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the implementation of evidence-based practice in a clinical setting Demonstrated leadership in clinical and policy change Demonstrated ability to work with physicians/providers with a proven ability to manage conflict and lead people through change Broad knowledge of the applicable standards of practice and guidelines for clinical practitioners Broad knowledge of clinical process, workflows, clinical services delivery and patient/client satisfaction determinants. Demonstrated clinical informatics expertise, with the ability to apply systems and critical thinking Experience in informatics, Electronic Medical Records, IT, or modern hospital HIS is preferred Uses effective leadership, facilitation, communication and negotiation abilities to achieve consensus, resolve conflict, achieve desired outcomes and address potential barriers to success Project Management and change management certification would be considered an asset Experience services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset Proficient knowledge of healthcare industry required; familiarity with clinical and administrative hospital functions and departments preferred Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines Experience in working with patient care leaders Ability to analyze highly complex systems and workflows Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
