Your job:

    Crown CAPP is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician.  This position will troubleshoot, repair, replace, maintain electrical/ systems for production related equipment and building utilities within a high-speed metal packaging manufacturing facility. This is an hourly position in high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment where compliance to all safety policies, procedures and regulations is our way of doing business.     Hourly Rate:   

    Primary Hours/Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00pm – 6:30am)

    Day to day responsibilities will include the following:

    • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on production equipment as needed and assigned
    • li>Assist in developing related preventive maintenance that do not currently exist.
    • Troubleshoot of circuits as required to repair, adjust, calibrate, replace, modify electrical components and devices of production equipment.
    • Knowledge of the requirements and use of Lockout Tagout.
    • Knowledgeable of and conform to the requirements of NFPA70E, Arc Flash.

    Job requirements :

    The successful candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance/Industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.

    • 120/240 VAC and 440 VAC single and three phase power circuits
    • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot variable frequency drives, AB Power Flex 40, 525 & Control Techniques
    • An understanding of ladder logic AB RS Logics 5, 500, & 5000
    • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - Allen Bradley PLC 5, SLC 500, Compact Logics
    • Must be able to comprehend and comply with all OSHA and company safety and electrical regulations including Lock Out / Tag Out, and Arc Flash protection
    • Use of hand tools, Multi-meters Analog & Digital, ammeters, amp probes
    • Ability to read and understand manuals, prints and electrical schematics
    • Good communication and basic computer skills
    • Planning and organizing skills

    Physical requirements:

    • Work from ladders, lifts, catwalks above floor level (4-10 feet); occasionally at ceiling height (20+ feet)
    • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, & reaching above shoulder level
    • Pushing, pulling, and lifting requirements: 25+ pounds.
    • Good Color vision
    • Exposure to high levels of noise (hearing protection required in plant area)

    About the Opportunity  
     
    • Support and manage the oversight process governing the preparation and filing of Fund financial statements, management reports of fund performance & quarterly holdings reports, ensuring all regulatory filing deadlines have been met and comply with IFRS, NI 81-106 and NI 81-102 where applicable.
    • Maintain close contact with business leads and key personnel which may include internal subject matter experts, fund administrators, external auditors, and translation providers; log all meetings, discussion items, and track all issues and major deliverables of service provider
    • Participate and prepare materials to be presented in Fund Audit Committee on all related audit and regulatory matters
    • Acting as a subject matter expert during the onboarding of new product initiatives. Identifying key considerations and impacts to the fund’s audits, regulatory reporting requirements.
    • Maintain close contact with business leads and key personnel at the fund administrators and external tax advisors; log all meetings, discussion items, and track all issues and major deliverables of service provider
    • Act as key support to the Director, Fund Treasury assisting with special projects related to changes in audit requirements, vendor operations and/or regulatory governance. May include digitization and automation initiatives, process improvement review and implementation, and coordination of special audit engagements.
    • Participate and lead in cross training on key fund reporting functions and provide back up support as necessary.


    About You  
    • University Degree, preferably with a focus on Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
    • 5+ Years of relevant experience; managerial experience is an asset
    • Accounting designation (CPA, CA) or post-graduate designation (MBA, CFA, CBV) equivalent is required

    Salary Range  
    $115,000 - $120,000/year
