Calian is seeking a Junior Military Occupational Instructor to join our team at CFB Borden, ON. This full-time position supports the delivery of QL3-level training for the Human Resource Administrator (HRA) occupation. The successful candidate will contribute to student development by delivering instruction, assessing performance, and ensuring the successful execution of the course training plan.

Responsibilities

Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

• Instructing HRA QL3 course material in accordance with the course training plan

• Assessing student performance, including marking and debriefing evaluation criteria (ECs)

• Providing remedial instruction and individualized student support when required

• Maintaining and updating student files and training records

• Supporting the Course Director with student welfare and training issues

• Participating in synchronous and asynchronous instruction delivery

• Assisting with lesson planning and training activity preparation

• Providing input on course content based on subject matter expertise

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols during training delivery

Qualifications

• Instructor Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience instructing in the content area relevant to the HRA trade

• Field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of non-instructional experience working in the Human Resource Administrator role

• Standard First Aid Certification: Must hold valid certification

• Driver’s License: Must hold a valid provincial driver’s license and be able to qualify for a DND 404 license (if required for task)

As the Project Manager, Product Commercialization, you will be responsible for the successful execution and implementation of new product launch projects. building large multidisciplinary project schedules, leading team resources from across the organization to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameter, and collaborating cross-functionally to overcome obstacles across the course of the projects.

What you’ll be doing

  • Engage in the innovation and product development process from idea, concept, development, and commercialization, to launch
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring projects stay on schedule and to budget, through utilizing efficient planning, strong communication, leadership, and prioritization skills
  • Develop and execute communication to all stakeholders including leading and facilitating team meetings, status reports, and risk identification
  • Manage the constraints of the project parameters (cost, time, scope, quality)
  • Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet conditions
  • Develop and track the budget for innovation and product development driven projects
  • Develop, shape and continually evolve the project management discipline (with focus on innovation), including the development of gold standard tools, templates, and processes
  • Coach, mentor, and train both staff and leaders throughout the organization on the use of project management tools and techniques, as well as standard methodologies
  • Ad hoc duties as required


What you bring to the role

  • Undergraduate or College Degree required
  • Project Management or other relevant Professional designations is an asset (PMP, Black Belt, Six Sigma)
  • 4+ years’ experience of on-the-job project management experience, leveraging project management tools and techniques
  • Experience in relevant consumer products industries (e.g, Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Adult Beverage/Alcohol industries, etc.) is preferred
  • Cannabis industry, an asset
  • Technical knowledge and experience (R&D, Engineering, Operations, Supply chain, etc.) preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Project is preferred
  • Proven track record of managing multiple large multidisciplinary projects simultaneously while staying on schedule and within budget
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and direct teams, and use conflict resolution tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Experience in workflow process mapping
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate at all levels of the organization and across all functions (sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, R&D/PD, operations, procurement, legal, quality, regulatory, etc.)
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring, teaching, facilitation, and team building
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a AZ Driver to join our team at our distribution center, located on Granville Island in Stayner, Ontario. This role will be responsible for ensuring the deliveries and pick-ups of product to and from Molson distribution centers, recycling plants, and picking up raw materials for Creemore Springs Brewery production. By providing exceptional customer service to our customers and always representing the brewery in a positive manner, the AZ Driver has a direct impact on the success of our business. The AZ Driver also works directly with the Driver Team Lead and Packaging department to ensure the requirements of raw materials are met.
 
What You'll Be Brewing: 

Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of Six Pints products throughout Ontario.
Direct delivering of product to Molson warehouses, and Molson third party warehouses.
Delivering and pick-up of product from co-packing facility.
Picking up materials such as empty pallets, empty kegs, etc. from Molson warehouses.
Picking up raw materials and packaging from suppliers to meet production demand.
Co-Driver with our Direct Delivery Team as needed (On Premise, LCBO’s, Straight truck) (REQUIRED).
Act as an ambassador of the products and the Brewery to all customers in a positive and professional manner.
Responsible for performing daily vehicle inspections; pre-trip and post-trip as outlined in driver procedures.
Keep the vehicle in compliance with all regulations through daily inspections and reports to Distribution Manager.
Perform minor repairs as required for safe operation of vehicle.
Take pride in the overall image that truck, and driver convey to our customers and the general public.
Product inventory must be balanced each day with delivery invoices.
Responsible for the security and accuracy of the load on truck before leaving each morning.
Identify opportunities for expanding existing or future business opportunities and communicating those opportunities to the sales department.

 
Key Ingredients:  

Must hold a valid AZ license with a clean driving record (zero tolerance for alcohol-related infractions)
Must have a strong knowledge of regulations and requirements of operating a commercial vehicle as per the Ministry of Transportation.
Forklift certification considered a strong asset.
Must be comfortable occasionally moving heavy objects, minimum of 100 lbs.
Must be comfortable driving in rural and urban areas.
Strong attention to detail required.
A detail-oriented, sincere, and responsible person with strong organizational skills.
Must be friendly and courteous towards all customers and co-workers.
