About the Opportunity  
  • Daily bank reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Monitor and purchase foreign currency
  • Set up wires and direct debits for approval
  • Reconcile prepaid expenses and capital assets, including tracking and depreciation
  • Prepare and file Canadian and US sales tax monthly
  • Prepare customs and duty filings with Canada Border Services Agency
  • Prepare bottle deposit reconciliation and filing for applicable provinces
  • Support accounts payable functions including coding and processing invoices, and payment preparation
  • Prepare billings for commissions and other intercompany transactions

About You  
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Sage X3 ERP proficiency is an asset
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to learn and self-motivated

Salary Range  
$55,000 - $65,000/year

  • Maintain and develop Group Hyperion Planning Applications with close liaison with operational teams on enhancement of application and reporting on forecasts and plans

About You  
  • Qualified accountant preferred

  • Hyperion Smartview and Adhoc-Analysis

  • Manage investments

    Your Role:

    We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Pickering, Ontario office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Responsibilities:


    • Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists, contractors, vendors and other project support staff/stakeholders.
    • Manage nuclear related projects. Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations
    • Monitors, tracks and controls project budget, schedule, and performance of projects
    • Identifies ways to improve project outcomes.
    • Provide leadership to the Project Team
    • Communicate project updates with client and other key stakeholders
    • Client delivery responsibility and establishing requirements as per procurement procedure
    • Assembles and leads meetings with project team members to communicate project scopes



    Qualifications:


    • A university degree in engineering or technical degree/diploma is considered an asset. Other professional qualifications will be considered with relevant experience
    • 10+ years experience in project management experience that includes leading and managing large multidiscipline projects, or large single discipline projects
    • Working experience as a Project Manager on nuclear/power related projects is considered an asset
    • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) and/or PMP certification would be a strong asset
    • Strong client management skills required to address challenging client requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Working experience in principles and practices of nuclear engineering as applied to design and construction of projects is preferred.
    • Nuclear (OPG or Bruce Power) experience is considered an asset
    • Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets.
    • Coaching, professional service management, communication and interpersonal skills are essential
    • Must be eligible to obtain security clearance
