Professional Medical Associates is a group of 4 family physicians, an urologist, and an obstetrician/gynaecologist. Our group of physicians is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care within our community. Our clinic has a strong reputation for patient satisfaction.
We are currently looking for a fee-for-service family physician to replace a retiring physician who has a well-established family practice. This practice provides comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
We offer a fully functional clinic setting with dedicated, well-trained staff whose main goal is to support your patients' health and wellbeing with exceptional care. Our practice is committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance, offering flexible scheduling to suit your needs.
Our staff works to ease the workload for our physicians. We currently have two excellent LPNs who assist with checkups when required and handle tasks such as injections, ear syringes, blood pressure monitoring, dressing changes, mini mental tests, and more. They are also available to assist with medical procedures.
The clinic features a surgical treatment room for minor procedures, fully equipped for excisions, joint injections, suturing, and suture removal.
Our medical office assistants are highly efficient in managing EMR scheduling, appointment handling, imports, billing, submissions, remittances, transcription, and proofreading. Job Qualifications The successful candidate must be eligible for Iicensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan and have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage. Compensation is offered under a fee-for-service model, supplemented by incentives through the TPM introduced by the Saskatchewan government. This competitive structure rewards your expertise and dedication to patient care.

· Provide short-term, highly focused, solution-oriented counseling to address a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, relationship issues, stress management and addictions · Able to work with adult individuals, couples, families and children · Adhere to professional standards and best practices · Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as required
What we're looking for
· Master’s Degree in a counselling related field; or Bachelor of Social Work degree with appropriate registration and counselling experience· Registration/clinical membership with a regulatory college or body in your province of practice· 3 years experience in counselling, social services, or addiction service settings· Experience working in the EFAP field is an asset· Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health · Proficiency to provide counselling services in either English or French is required· Counselling proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset· Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
