We are redefining mental health and addiction services to help Canadians live healthier, more productive and more fulfilling lives.Homewood Health is looking for an experienced crisis management specialist to provide workplace trauma response and organizational crisis management services on an occasional, contract basis, based the Yellowknife, NWT area.
What you'll be doing · Respond to requests to deliver on-site CMS services in a timely, clinically appropriate and professional manner; consistent with the unique needs of each critical incident and organizational culture· Deliver On-site Crisis Management Services that include individual and group crisis interventions, debriefings, and corporate client consultation immediately following a traumatic incident· Communicate closely with CMS Managers throughout provision of services· Document services delivered in accordance with Homewood Health requirements
What we're looking for · A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field· Minimum 2 years of workplace crisis management experience· Formal training in trauma response, psychological first aid, or critical incident response ( CISM; NOVA, Psychological First Aid, or related accredited training)· Registration or clinical membership with relevant governing body· Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills· Written and verbal French language fluency is an asset· Must be flexible, accessible and available to respond after hours periodically during the week and week-ends· Exceptional assessment, crisis management-clinical skills and customer service delivery· Demonstrated crisis based, clinical judgment and intervention skills to support traumatic events impacting employees and the workplace· Strong organizational and time management skills· Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)

Position OverviewAecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi-disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services including piping, insulation, scaffolding, and module fabrication. ACSI is seeking Millwright Journeypersons who will be integral to our project’s success, responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and maintain equipment. Your expertise will support a range of activities which are critical to the safe operation of equipment on the project. Key Responsibilities Operator rig equipment and dollies to move heavy machinery and parts. Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts (often to within a fraction of a millimeter tolerance). Align and test equipment and adjust. Perform preventive and operational maintenance using procedures such as vibration analysis, and repair or replace defective parts. Trouble-shoot hydraulic, pneumatic and programmable logic controls. Tack welding and fabrication as well as maintain an inventory of replacement parts. Perform field work to a high quality and provide thorough follow up with proper and efficient documentation of work. Perform proactive maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs for a wide range of Instrumentation and control equipment, such as Hydraulic operated valves, various pressure and flow measurements, radiation density Gauges, Radar level transmitters, CCTV monitoring systems, Computerized control systems. Journeyperson will mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety. Requirements and Experience Valid Provincial Journeyperson Ticket or indentured in a Provincial apprenticeship program. CSTS-20 Certificate Fall Protection – In Class Mobile Elevated Work Platform – In Class Confined Space – In Class Experience as a Millwright in an industrial construction environment. Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg. Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments. Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies. Project Details: Based at our project in the Northwest Territories, this will be a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation opportunity.  Responsibilities: The Underground Miners on our remote project in the Northwest Territories, may be responsible and accountable for the following: Installing ground support with a MacLean bolter Drilling development rounds with a Jumbo Mucking development rounds with a scooptram Loading & blasting development rounds Installing mine services Operating various pieces of underground mining equipment Follow all policies and processes at the mine site and underground Must be prepared to adhere to all legislated regulations and company Health & Safety policies and perform the role safely and ensure Health & Safety is the number one priority Other mining related tasks as required Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum 5 years working full-time in an underground mine environment Experienced in installation of ground support Experience operating jumbo, MacLean bolter, scooptrams, scissorlifts, and other underground equipment Shotcrete experience would be considered an asset Slinging / rigging experience would be considered an asset Valid NWT blasting ticket would be considered an asset Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. repetitively and on a regular basis Ability to work within a fast-paced environment Experience working with a variety of crews and adapts well to working with others Dependable and able to commit to a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team Residents of the Northwest Territories area and candidates identifying as Indigenous are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment Requirements: Drug Test Medical Criminal Record Check This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 14 days on site, 14 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
