Senior Store Team LeaderNorthern Reflections is looking for a Sr. Store Team Leader to join our store team. The Sr. Store Team Leader assists Store Management to maximize sales and profits by achieving sales goals while ensuring an excellent customer experience is provided at all times. They are fully responsible for all aspects of the store during their days in charge which includes accountability for both personal and store productivity results. The Sr. Store Team Leader will also assist store management with team leadership, recruitment, training and coaching plus may prepare the store schedule. Job Duties Assist the Store Management Team in delivering Company objectives and initiatives
Meet or exceeds both personal and store sales budgets, daily, weekly and year to date
Achieve key personal/store performance indicators
Assist in ensuring that store team is fully trained in product information, selling skills and loss prevention techniques
Demonstrates and coaches to ensure all Associates use Fundamental Selling Skills
Ensures that the highest level of customer service is provided in the store by acting as a role model
Promotes the Campaign Goals
Reviews Store Sales Management Report and Employee Productivity Reports (where applicable)
Sells Northern as a brand by using all product knowledge and the Northern name.
Process Customer purchases quickly and accurately at cash register
Effectively coaches and provides feedback to all Store Associates on personal productivity measures
Assists in managing contests, in-store promotions and outreach events
Provides the Store Management team ongoing feedback offering a solution to potential problems
Actively recruits Sales Associate candidates
Leads Sales Associates to achieve sales budgets through positive motivation
Plans and implements visual directions and layouts
Ensures that store is neat, clean and well-presented
Maintains visual presentation standards as per visual guidelines
Prepares the store schedule, as required
Performs other duties as assigned Requirements 1-3 years retail management experience in a specialty store, preferably apparel
Understanding of retail financial knowledge and ability to recognize personal impact in driving sales results
Awareness of retail concepts such as gross margin, markdowns and profit
Proven ability to inspire and motivate a team to reach its sales goals
Demonstrates confidence and passion in selling
Able to maintain a high energy level with enthusiasm
Has the ability to adapt to needs of customer and store team
Flexible in adapting to changing business needs and sales strategies
Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanour
Awareness and understanding of store Point of Sales systems
