Promote an environment of employee and customer engagement.Here’s where you’ll be focusing:Create a coaching and development culture for all department employees, which embraces a passion for foodManage department personnel which includes scheduling, recruitment, performance management and trainingResponsible for ensuring the communication of operational requirements/ changes to front-end department employeesCreate a shopping experience that engages customers in a way that enhances loyalty, sales and profitProvide customer service to meet customer needsMerchandises front end racks and fixtures along with ordering of productOrder and maintain inventoryProcess and resolve customer concerns and requestsExecute winning conditionsExecute SMART InitiativesEnsure all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adheredResponsible for ensuring that OH&S, Food Safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures, are implemented and maintainedPerform department administrative duties as requiredManage department budgetResponsible for ensuring efficient operation of the department to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted KPIsBalance cash office according to company policies and proceduresPerform negative tracking proceduresIdentify and correct cash discrepanciesSubmit payroll records and process invoicesThoroughly understand all relevant company programs, attend training as requiredBe known as the employer of choice by actively supporting an environment of employee engagementCoordinate maintenance of department equipment and repairsWhat you have to offer:High school diplomaMinimum of 18 months of experience working in the front-end departmentAbility to work independently in a fast paced environmentAbove average communication skills (oral and written)Full knowledge of department operations and skillsProficient use of Microsoft office suite FreshCo. and its franchise partners offer teammates competitive total compensation packages that will vary by role, location, and store ownership.
