The purpose of this senior role is to provide business expertise and analysis in the service of the global Wealth Management group in a business analysis, project management and product owner capacity. In this role, the senior director will use their business experience to provide high-level context to other senior business leaders on Wealth Management projects. This is in contrast to other BA roles, in which the analyst is focussed on one particular project and the incumbent details for specification and testing. The senior director will also utilise their direct work experience to build relationships with the Wealth and Front Office business so that the requirements definition cycle is shortened, issues are identified or understood quickly, and test cases are as effective and efficient as possible.


In essence, we are looking for a Senior Director who can work in a hybrid BA/COO capacity for the entire global portfolio of programs across the Wealth business. This is both a 'hands on' and a strategic leadership role which will include 360 assessment and direction of your peer group and senior interaction with the business and organizational leadership.

Primary Objectives:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the client base for all assigned projects.
  • Take over and fix red projects/programs.
  • Communicate business issues and medium-to-high level requirements to other BA’s and project/program managers on assigned projects.
  • Ensure that all the group's deliverable documents (Business Requirements Doc, Functional Specifications, and System Requirements Specifications) are of high quality and in line with the project objectives.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer for senior wealth group members.
  • Provide informal and formal assessments of the group’s work output including peer group.
  • Assist other Directors and VPs with overall management of the Global Group.


Required Skills:

  • At least 10 years of experience in complex IT projects as a Business Analyst or Business SME.
  • 5- 8 years Wealth Management project experience as a BA or Wealth Management business domain experience.
  • 6+ years of experience working in a major transformation initiative ie analysis including requirements definition, feasibility studies, cost estimates, proposals, business process mapping, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and implementation.
  • 5+ years in a strategic leadership capacity.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile delivery methodology.

They are looking for a Manager, Business Planning and Analysis who will be responsible for Reporting to the Associate Director, Financial Business Planning, Manager, Business Planning and Analysis plays a critical part in driving financial performance and operational efficiency across one or more operational or shared services portfolios. As a strategic business partner to senior leaders, you will provide forward-looking financial guidance that supports improved planning, budgeting accuracy, and stronger performance outcomes. You will oversee the full financial planning cycle, including annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and optimized resource allocation. In addition, you'll lead scenario modeling, business case development, KPI design and tracking, and performance reporting to support continuous performance improvement. The role demands a proactive and influential finance partner who builds strong relationships with operational leads to anticipate needs, align financial strategy with business objectives, and accelerate decision-making through timely, data-driven insights that improve financial results.

About the Opportunity? 

  • Lead financial reporting and analytics, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports with variance analysis to support strategic decision-making and performance reviews.  

  • Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs), cost drivers, and business trends to uncover risks and opportunities, enabling proactive performance management.  

  • Drive improvements in forecasting and budgeting, leveraging data and scenario planning to increase accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.  

  • Streamline reporting processes and enhance data integrity through automation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.  

  • Analyse actual vs. budgeted results to uncover root causes of variances and recommend actionable strategies for financial optimization.  

  • Lead the development of annual operating plans and long-term financial strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategic priorities.  

  • Build robust financial models and conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support planning, resource allocation, and decision-making.  

  • Develop and evaluate business cases for new initiatives and capital investments, ensuring alignment with fiscal goals and return on investment.  

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to business leaders, embedding financial insights early in planning and guiding high-impact business initiatives.  

  • Lead and coach a team of Financial Analysts, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that supports individual development and organizational success. 

About You? 

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory or management capacity  

  • Proven experience in financial and strategic planning, management reporting, and corporate consolidation  

  • Proficiency in financial ERP systems such as Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, and Workday Adaptive, with advanced expertise in the Microsoft Office suite  

  • Expert skills in Excel for data modeling and analysis, as well as the ability to create impactful presentations using PowerPoint  

  • A knack for managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and senior leaders  

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and client service  

  • A post-secondary degree with a concentration in Business/Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Finance. Attainment or working toward one of the following is preferred: CPA (CA, CGA, CMA), MBA  

  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position 

Salary Range? 

$120,000 - $135,000/year?
