Regional Environmental Assessment and Preliminary Design Lead - Greater Toronto Region
We're reinventing our Greater Toronto Civil infrastructure team. Come be a part of our culture of empowerment and collaboration in the critical infrastructure unit. Parsons is a recognized firm in the planning and design of transportation projects in the Region. We are respected by our clients as an organization with strong technical skills, solid project delivery and excellent performance.
What You'll Be Doing
We are looking for an Environmental Assessment (EA) & Preliminary Design (PD) Lead to help grow our business in the GTA and Ontario. The successful candidate will have hands-on project management experience for Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Regions/Municipalities doing EA and preliminary design on roads and highway widening and/or interchange modifications. In this role, you will manage the overall EA & PD portfolio on both MTO and municipal projects. And play a key role in growing our EA & PD business. We are currently working for the MTO and multiple Regions and want to take advantage of the relationship to expand our EA and PD team and portfolio. Supported by a strong design team the Regional EA & PD Lead will be managing EA and PD projects upon award.
The position can be based in one of our four major offices, with a 100% remote option available for the right candidate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
12+ years of experience delivering major/significant EA and PD projects.
Hands-on project management experience for major MTO EA & PD projects
Registered Professional Engineer
Proven background of leading multidisciplinary design teams on challenging, high-profile projects
