Omni-Channel Data Lead

Global Pharmaceutical Company

$160,000 – $180,000 base salary + bonus + full benefits

Remote – Greater Toronto Area

The Role – Omni-Channel Data Lead:

This role acts as the connective tissue between the Marketing Analytics team and IT/Data Engineering. You’ll ensure the analytics and brand teams have clean, accessible data to drive smarter decisions, and you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting issues, governing usage, and shaping how data is managed across platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the flow of data across marketing and analytics platforms (email, social, CRM, digital, etc.)
  • Work closely with IT to address data gaps, validate pipelines, and prioritize fixes
  • Create governance standards and best practices around data usage and access
  • Troubleshoot issues and educate users on what's broken and how it's being resolved
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align data priorities


Your Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or data governance roles
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, architecture, and quality assurance
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Comfortable managing complex data environments and resolving data issues
  • Clear, confident communicator who can bridge technical depth with strategic thinking

This includes the periodic consolidation, preparation of published quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A as well as financial accounting, periodic management reporting, annual budgets, forecasts and three-year plans.This position provides insightful analysis to senior management and the Board of Directors with regards to the consolidation of the various business units.Responsibilities:Prepare consolidation entries and support the Company's periodic consolidation process;Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual shareholder reports, including MD&A and financial statement notes as well as the preparation of working papers and supporting documentation;Prepare legal entity and other financial statements, as required;Assist in the annual GWL consolidated budget and three year plan process;Prepare various quarterly consolidated reports to senior management and Board of Directors;Prepare analysis of periodic results to senior management providing insightful commentary and variance analysis of results;Review periodic and quarterly divisional submissions, including continuity and other supplemental schedules;Prepare system-generated reports and use other analytical tools to aid in internal and external reporting requirements; andAd-hoc projects as required.Qualifications: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is requiredStrong proficiency in Excel and PowerPointSelf-starter who works well in a team as well as with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenQuality driven and detail orientedKnowledge of financial accounting processes, policies, controls and systemsStrong business acumen, with an ability to focus on continuous improvementGood problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills; can see the "big picture" in a complex environmentExposure to public company reporting environment would be an assetProficiency in D365, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and Smartview would be an asset, but not requiredWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
